First of many many thanks all senior members of this board and suggest here must be a DONATE Button that happy members could donate for this site which is extremely helpful for all.

Short question,

I’m married to EU Citizen last 7 years.

I have 3 non children from previous marriage they join us in UK almost 4 years all were under 18 years.

My wife applied for EU settlement scheme for settled status as she already had PR and included my 3 non EEA children they already had Residence Card as family member on May 2019.

My wife and 3 children granted settled status ILR even my children got same status as my wife.

Now I’m British after obtaining PR and my 2 children are British.

One my child can’t apply for registration as British Coz he is over 18.

If my EU citizen wife is going to divorce me would this affect his EU sattled status ( Indifinate leave to remain) ?

Thanks I’m advance for your time to answer my question

No...his settled status is permanent unless he commits a crime.

In a year's time, he can apply for British citizenship as an adult. If he commits a crime, then he jeopardises his settled status as well as his future British citizenship.

Thanks for your reply

Do he need to wait 1 year after ILR or he need to complete 5 years residency in UK?

Thanks

If yes, then he can apply for British citizenship in a year's time.
