NON EU family member with Settled status Sponsoring Non Eu spouse

I am a Non-Eu family member of an EU citizen.
I have applied for settled status. I am married to a non-EU Non-UK citizen. He is currently on Tier 2 work permit. Can he apply for EU settlement scheme as my spouse if i receive settled status?
Not as extended family member of my father as he can not prove his dependency on my EU citizen father. I know UK spouse visa is an option, but that is very expensive and time-consuming.

As a non EU citizen you cannot sponsor him under the EU rules or EU settled scheme.
You will only have the option to apply for a spouse visa as already advised in your other topic you have.

This has been my understanding, however, I visited the local citizen advice centre. They sounded very sure that I can apply using EU scheme. Which is why I thought the good people here could confirm the case.

They are mistaken. You are over 21, not dependent on your EU citizen sponsor anymore, so this route is not relevant to your spouse.
Only an EU citizen can sponsor a non EU citizen.

Can my father sponsor my husband? We live in the same house. And as you know from my old posts, he is out of job and can not apply for new job in his current visa, so genuinely dependent on my father.
Also I apologise for opening a new topic today with the same question. Please dont ban me, i am in need for urgent help.
