No answer, one month after settlement application

I've applied for settled status on 28/10 and haven't heard back since. I can't find my status online as it says that it may be under review. I had no other communication. Shall I wait or contact HO ?

Nothing stopping you from contacting the HO, but to be honest, if they have not come back to you it is very likely simply because there has been no progress on your application.
Patience. I waited for 5 months, though this is because I am part of the unlucky group of people who are non-EU family members of EU nationals having spent more than 5 years in the UK but less than 5 years as the family member of an EU national. For some reason, they decided these cases were not straightforward and, to boost outcome numbers, left them all for later in the day.

Right ok, my case is somewhat similar. I'm EU, 15 years in the UK, but never for a straight working 5 years time (due to studies in between), married to an EU who's recently become British. I just saw that they should reply within 10 days or so, but if they're taking longer in certain cases, that's fine.
