Applying for EU Settlement scheme after separation.

Hi
I am married to a Eu national in 2014 and I got my residence card in 2015 October. And my wife decided to separate from me this month because things didn’t go well in our marriage. She was working past six years.
Now my question is can I apply for settlement scheme after separation? If I can what documents I will have to provide? I Can manage to get her wage slips for previous years will that be enough?
Do I need her Id photograph or the physical ID to apply for settlement scheme?
Do I need to provide any proof of living together for past years and can I apply now since I have valid residence card till end of this October 2020.
