Where did you get married? Were you living in UK when you married?

Since you got married in UK and were already residing in the UK before wedding date, your qualification period started from the date of your marriage in March. The right of residence for the EEA citizen's spouse if automatic ie starts on the wedding day.
June will be relevant only for unmarried partner. For the married person, who lives outside the UK, the period starts with the date he\she crosses the border with immigration visa\stamp.
