EEA (PR) replacement and appointment for documents

Hi
I've recently done an online application to replace my "document certifying permanent residence" since I can't find my document anymore..
I've already reported this to the police, I've been given a case number and I've submitted that to the government when doing the application for the replacement.
I have the new "settled status" but I know is mandatory to request a new PR document if lost so that's the reason of my application.
Now my problem is.. during the application it was specified that all document could be sent online, now that i've finished the application i've got the message "Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 21 May 2020".
Due to the lockdown I can't book any appointment and the UKVCAS website also states that because of this they don't accept any new appointment. I've tried to call visa but i always end up bounced to another phone number or to an automated message..
what should i do? If i don't book the appointment do i lose the application as well?
