applying for settled/pre settled status

Nationality: New Zealand
Arrived in UK: 30/12/2014
Married EU sponsor: 23/03/2015
Visa: EEA Family member - EU residence (19/04/2016 - 19/04/21) ((EU right to reside))
Separated from sponsor/spouse: 11/05/2017
Spouse left UK permanently: 24/05/2017
Lost BRP card: 12/09/2017 (unable to apply for replacement as i needed to make fresh application)
Divorce finalised (decree absolut): 8/04/2019

My question is rather simple, my situation obviously not... what is the route I should take into either applying for settled/pre-settled status?

But if that isn't possible, would the best option be to just wait until my 5 years of residence in the UK has lapsed and apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain? (if at all possible)

S.O.S Mayday!

Any assistance would be largely appreciated!

Thank you!

Sam

That doesn't sound good. So you are non-EEA national without any valid leave in hand since 2017.

Your marriages lasted less than 3 years in total, so there is no retained right of residence.

Maybe other members have different opinions, but it seems to me you are illegal in the UK.
