So I applied for pre-settled status in January and still no news. Today my partner had a call from the HO which only last less than 2 mins where no questions was asked only to say that they are checking and they do call from time to time. They also state that they might need more relationship evidence but from the quick conversation they state that it might Not be necessary.

Just wondering if anyone or anyone’s partner have received a call like that during their application process.

Strange. Usually when they call it's not just to say hello but to ask for clarifications or documents.

That’s what I thought as well but they didn’t ask any questions about me or about my partner, so I found this a bit strange and don’t know what to think or what’s going on.

But at least it means they are working on the application. Hopefully you hear about it soon.
