BRP Delivery

Hi all,

My wife (Non-EU citizen) received pre-settled status in March 2020, right before Covid kicked off. We have been waiting for the BRP card ever since and few days ago we received one email stating that the BRP delivery will resume once BRP delivery offices reopen. However, they wouldn't know when this will happen. We live in Scotland.

Has anyone from England/Wales/NI recently received a BRP card? I'm trying to figure out whether BRP delivery has resumed in the rest of the UK.

Many thanks,

Marco

I got my leave status in mid-march and received my BRP early April.

Unless you've done it before, you can report your BRP delay here: https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence- ... ot-arrived

Thanks Wikki. Yes, I reported it in early April but it was already too late due to Covid.

I wonder if they've started to send the BRP cards post-Covid...

My husband received his pre-settled status in March and also hasn't received his BRC.

I've emailed twice with no reply and was going to call them about it too.

Wondering if there are any updates. I find it hard to believe that restaurants and pubs are being reopened while BRP offices are still closed...

Nope, we're in the Midlands, I called them multiple times and finally they sent it through last week.
We'd been waiting since March :(

Hello,

My non EU family member also got pre-settled status more than 15 working days ago but still hasn’t received her brc. The euss caseworker mentionned possible technical issues when we submitted the form to flag that the card hadn’t been received after 10 working days.

Not sure what to do to speed things up further.
I’m a bit worried as my partner needs it urgently to travel.
Best

- Complain for BRC not received within 10 working days : 18/08/2020
- Home Office got back to us to say they was a "technical issue" which had slowed down the Biometric Residence Card (BRC) production
- BRC successfully received : 04/09/2020 : It took 2 delivery attempts and several call to TNT before we managed to get it delivered properly.
The Home Office pay for the minimum service for TNT Delivery so TNT can't even call you on your phone if they are at your door ro if there is any issue. TNT Delivery Guys are out of control : at the first failed attempt they didn't even come to the right address. At the second attempt they just dropped it in our mailbox without signature !!

Did you call them? What was the number you contacted them on? Did you get the BRP card now?

I too am waiting for my BRP. I have called Home Office 3 times now and whenever I call they just listen to what I say and then cut the phone.

Did you get your BRP eventually? Are there any steps you'd recommend I follow as well that may have helped you? My husband got his decision on 9th June and we've filled the forms three times and sent an email to a bunch of home office emails as well as escalated to our MP (Home Office told our MP that they'll get back in 20 days). I got my BRP only three days after my decision email on 8th June.

Any advice on here would be great.

Will a close relative will be able to recieve the residence card from TNT if I'm out the country? What are their requirments at this point? Will power of attorney help?
thanks
