Hi,

my wife has a residence card as a family member of a Union Citizen valid until Feb 2021. We both have been granted settled status. Does she need to apply for a renewal of this EEA card or there is no need (not clear how she would enter EU otherwise). What's the process for the renewal of the EEA card?

As far as am aware this card is no longer valid after june 2021, what you need to do now is apply to change your card to a EU settlement BRC follow the thread below for more information:

Did you mean how she will enter the UK, or do you actually mean EU countries?
Once she has a EUSS card, as advised above, she will NOT be able to use it in the same way as one could use the EEA RC to visit EU countries. This benefit is lost with Brexit and the new EUSS card.
