Residence card application payment

Hi all,

I'm applying for a residence card EEA(EFM) and I provided my debit card details in Payment section of the application form, but I'm still not sure - do I have to make the payment myself, or Home Office will charge me on its own?
Could you please bring some clarity.

Thanks,
Andrei

Hi,

When I did it 5 years ago, I just put it my details and HO took the money a few days after they received all of my papers.

You provide the debit card and they charge it. Make sure the numbers are correct. If the payment fails, the application is invalid and will be returned to you.

Small update for those who had the same question:
The application with payment details was sent and the payment was done by Home Office the next day.
