Visiting UK as non-EEA member of EEA citizen.

Hi Everyone

My father in law is a German citizen and mother law is a non-EEA National. She used to apply for a free visitor visa to accompany my father in law and was granted twice. They were before Brexit. Is it still a valid route or it has changed?

Thanks

Hello

Nothing changed really. The Brexit doesn't affect visitor visas as they weren't under EEA law anyway.

So if she had the visa twice, her chances of getting it again are very high.

Many Thanks for your comment. I think the route was under freedom of movement of EU national and their family members in EEA. Is that still in place?
