card replacements and travel

hello i applied to exchange my BRC to EU pre settle scheme and i done my biometric on 2nd october , till now i don’t receive any new replacement card . my question is while waiting for my card can i travel with my OLD BRC to my back home country and come back before 31st December ? or i am not allow to travel as i done fingerprint for new card ? need help please
