Non-Eu family member travel during application process

Hello,

I have applied to Eu presettlement scheme as a Non-Eu family member linked to my husband who is a Eu national with presettled status.

I am currently in the Uk waiting for the biometric appointment. Our lawyer told us that if I travel outside of the Uk before the application outcome, the application would be considered withdrawn. However, I found no resource online that says that applicants should not travel outside of the Uk until receiving the application outcome. Does anyone know whether leaving the Uk before the application outcome is released negatively affect my application decision? I am considering leaving the Uk for coupe of months right after the biometric appointment.

Amazed at how many people still believe this, even lawyers. Official documentation has been available since a while ago, clearly pointing to the opposite.

EU Settlement Scheme casework guideline, page 35:
An application made under Appendix EU will not be treated as automatically
withdrawn if the applicant travels outside the Common Travel Area before the
application has been decided.
Contrary to almost all other immigration applications under UK law, the EU Settlement Scheme allows for travel abroad while the application is being decided.
