Replacement BRC

Hello, I would like to ask somebody how long does it take to get a replacement BRC.
I come from Morocco, and my husband is french.
He applied for EEA FAMILY PERMIT, I got my visa and traveled to UK on September 2019 (visa expired on February 2020)
My application under the EU Settlement Scheme has been successful on 12. 11.19.
I received my Biometric Resident Card a week after but unfortunately on April 2020 it has been stolen.
I reported it to the police and I re-applied for a replacement on the same day.
On September I enrolled my fingerprints, they asked me to upload only proof of address.
Now it's nearly 8 months since I applied but I did not receive any email or any update.
1. Does anyone know if it's usual for it to take so long?
2. I want to travel to Morocco as well for few weeks , do you know if I would be able to come back to UK without BRC? (I'm working as carer).
3. Why the process of my application is taking longer than the first time I got my BRC?
Thank you for your help

Hi,
Does somebody know if I can travel with my husband to France without Brc (I did not receive it yet) ?
Or do I need a visa?
Thank you

Maybe this link answers your question:
https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/ ... sas/brexit
My understanding:
The Settled Status BRC issued by the UK is only relevant to the UK, as EU rules no longer apply.

Can I ask why you presume it was stolen and not just lost?
If it was indeed stolen, it is my understanding that you ideally should've made a police complaint. Not saying that this is a requirement. But lost and stolen are two different things.
