Hi All,

I arrived to the UK at the beginning of March 2016 on an EEA family permit. I have an entry stamp on my family permit dated march 2016. I applied for Residence card of a family member of an EU national and received it in October 2016. I already have a pre-settled status. Does my 5 year starts when I enter the UK in March with FP, or should i wait for October 2021 to apply for settled status?

It depends. If you are an extended family member - October 2021 (because the card was issued October 2016). If you are a close family member, then count from the date of your arrival.
