Hi all,

we applied for my parent's EUSS family permit from Lahore, Pakistan.
Below are dates

Application submitted: 12 May 2021
Bio-metrics done at VFS centre: 24 May 2021

Got below email:

'Your visa application reference number:GWF********* has been dispatched to the UK, for processing. An auto e-mail will be generated to inform you when the application is processed and is available for collection at the application Centre.

After that, no response even after 3 weeks. Questions below

1) VFS didnt take passports, said there will be call/text for passports if your application is accepted, is it expected ?
2) How much processing time it is taking these days ? it says 15 working days for family permit to be issued, but it does not look like to be
3) How can we escalate the process ?

I will appreciate if someone can share their experience on the subject issue. Thanks

1. Sounds a bit strange, but I did it with TLS. I am unsure.

2. I called UKVI's paid service this morning - said the EUSS FP timeline is now sitting at 6 months from the point of bios.

3. You can normally only escalate AFTER the SLA has been breached, which is sitting at 60 days.
