I am an non-Eu resident (unmarried partner of a EU resident). I received my BRP in 3/2016 valid for 5 years when I made my first application.

In 2019 I applied for my Pre-Settlement and received a visa extension until 2024, but didn't receive a new updated BRP.

In Jan 2021 I applied for my Settlement/ILR, and received the approval letter 4 months later, in May 2021.
The letter stated that I would receive in two weeks a new BRP if I didn't have a valid one. (my previous expired in 3/2021).

The BRP never arrived, I reported as not received and I got an mail saying that my enquire was passed to my caseworker. Also the letter advised not to make any travelling arrangements until I received the BRP.
I have been waiting for 2 weeks and not reply from my caseworker and nearly 2 months since my Settlement approval.

Has anyone received the BRP after done the Settlement? (if you were previously resident in the UK).
Did you pay for a new BRP?

Any advice would be very welcome.

You likely did not receive a new BRP because you already had a valid one when you applied (a 5-year BRP issued in Macrch 2016 would have been still valid in January 2021), even if that BRP is now expired.

Likely the wrong procedure. If you got your status by applying with your BRP via the app and did not give biometrics, then you were never supposed to receive a new BRP. Therefore, you should have applied to replace your BRP instead of claiming you did not receive a BRP that was never issued.

This only happenes if you did NOT have a valid BRP when you applied, and if you gave biometrics. If you applied with a valid BRP via the app you are not supposed to automatically receive a new BRP.

Did you pay for a new BRP?

You do not pay for the new BRP, but you might pay for the biometrics appointment. There are some free appointments, but these are rare.
Now, the process has been changed recently, so you might be allowed to do it without a biometrics appointment (it will tell you if you can), and simply recycling your old biometrics, but you still need to apply for a new BRP in any case.
