Hi, im a British citizen who lived and worked in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I returned to the UK in 2016 with my ukranian wife via surrender Singh. She has a residence card (family member) we successfully applied for pre-settled status with the EU settlement scheme. Having lived for 5 years in the uk, should we apply for settled status via the EU settlement scheme or do we need to apply directly for ILR?
Thank you for any help in advance

Settled Status *is* ILR under the special rules for EEA citizens and those covered by the Withdrawal Agreement.

And if she has resided in the UK under the Surinder Singh rules, that is the only route under which she can apply for ILR.

So just to clarify, applying for settled status through the EU settlement scheme is the way she will get ILR?
