Non Eu child with pre settled status

Hi to everyone
I am non Eu with Settlet Status 8 years durable partnership with Eu sponsor. My son non Eu child with pre settled status (step child of Eu sponsor). The question is if I break up with Eu sponsor will it affect my son's pre settled status and futher application to SETTLED Status? Child turn over 18 yo.
