Pre settled to settled status

Hello All.
I need some valuable advice with my status please.
I was granted pre settle status back in 2019 on a basis of durable relationships with my polish partner. I'm from nepal.
Unfortunately we are no longer together and she's left the country.
Now my pre settled status expires on 1st of September.
Do I need to apply for the settled status or will it automatically be updated ?
Thank you.

Your pre-settled status (and all rights in the UK) is dependent on your EU partner's status. If you are not together, this means your status is basically void and you stay in the UK illegally. This will be clear to the case worker when you will try to apply for settled status, probably he will revoke the status from the system completely in this case.
However, there is a chance the system will extend automatically your pre-settled status by another 5 years but still it doesn't mean you are safe - any checks from immigration, home office or border force and these can lead to deportation
