Grandma's pre-settled status

Since this section of the forum is dying I don't expect any answers but still...

Mama is on EUSS family permit, my niece is a sponsor.
Mama lives with me, she's quite old and disabled (legally blind). We applied to pre-settled status a month ago. Now, my worries are that she will be refused because she doesn't live with her sponsor. I suspect there will be questions about dependency. My niece sends money, but she only started a week ago since we couldn't open a bank account for my mother.
A genuine question: how do we appeal in case of refusal? And is there any chance of a positive outcome?
Thanks.

As I remember, there is no appeal on EUSS decisions. However, they are free and you can just create a new application with new supporting documents

Thanks for your advice.
I think I shall post here about the outcome, if you are interested.
All the best,
N.
