Coming to UK for visit with non-EU spouse

Hi there!

Me: an EU citizen
My spouse: non-EU citizen.

We are thinking of going on holiday to Syria before we go to settle in Turkey permanently... But we are thinking to come to the UK for holiday for 2 weeks.

Does my non-EU spouse need a visa to come to the UK just for a visit even though we are travelling together?

If my spouse does need a visa...
From where would it be better to obtain one? From the UK embassy in syria or from heathrow?

I appreciate if anyone can offer help. I have been reading this paper http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary but it does not seem to have anything for visitors...

Thanks in advance.

Depends whether your wife is a visa national or not!
If visa national, best to apply for visit visa/EEA Family Permit from the BHC in your country of residence.
If non-visa national, you can just go to the UK with her as long as you have proof of relationship.
