My wife from EU national want divorce

Hello everyone,

i m having problem and had information from different channels and my mind is mixed up if some one clear me up from this situation i will be really thankful of that kind.
Well, i have eea family member visa after marry with my polish wife. our marriage was successful first two and half year and its been 8 month now we are separate. Now my wife want a divorce and she want apply it asap.
what will be my status if absolute decree is completed.
from me:
i came in UK as a student in sept 2004 and me and my wife start live together in august 2006 then we married in December 2006. i got resident card of family member of an EEA nationals in march 2007 untill sept 2012.
i am employed with 18k p/a salary.

from my wife:
She is working continuously since she married.

After putting my all detail front of you i m looking someone can explain me what i suppose to do.

You can retain your status IF your wife is ready to help you otherwise you are not supposed to be in UK.

You should try and explain to him that you will loose your status, if she divorce now, she can divorce after 3 years, it wont affect you, the rule was you must be married for 3 years, and try and keep all her documents as they will request for pay slips, if she is not working she must be either a student or self employed and you must have all the documents like her certificate or receipt of her school fees during the time you are together.
You can also consult an immigration lawyer who is conversant with EU immigration rules.

i think you didn't understand my case.
my marriage is now over more than 3 years and i have been in this more than 5 year.
my wife she want to apply for divorce now.
can i apply for ILR?

Hi,

She is willing to help me but i dont think she will after divorce.
what kind of help i could need from her.
