Coa received around 26 Jan.
I was at work yesterday but my neighbours told me that there were 2 plain cloth officers,1 white and 1 indian knocking at the door around 9:30am,they were holding files and also have a Security type black radio and they have also stayed in car for 5
mints before leaving.I am not sure if they were immigration officers because i have also received a letter from tv licensing enforcement team that they will visit anytime of the week morning or evening because the previous tenants they were caught using tv without license. Can any one have same experience?

No I haven't been invited for an interview. I guess they don't invite everyone, right?
Btw, I'm applying as Unmarried partner.

Very sorry to hear that! why is it taking so long? is there something unusual with your application?
Have you been living with your partner for at least 2 years (LT relationship) etc...
Do you have a COA with right to work?

dear all,

I have applied for a registration certificate as EEA (QP) and my non EU husband has applied for a RC as EEA (FM). We sent all the docs in one envelope.

Our documents were delivered on 27th May.
Fee taken from both on 28th May
Biometrics letter for my husband received on 6th June, dated 3rd June.
Biometrics submitted 6th June.

I have received an acknowledgment email with my case stating that it might take up to 6 months to proceed my application (!) But I thought they should issue registration certificate for an EU national as soon as possible?

My husband still haven't received COA. When should we expect it? He also didn't receive any letter of acknowledgement.

Hi
I didnt get any updates but am the only applicant which was treated as VIP.
I had 2 COA
We had Interview
We had Home visit while we are at office.
They Called to work place.
Finished 6 months
When i spoke to them.only 95% applicant will get in 6 months
People like me need to wait unlimited time.if we cant wait
They are telling me to leave the country.
Our case is genuie and we both are same ethnicity
As we both work full time and pay tax.they dont like us.
They encourge only benefits.
So stop working enroll on benefits and they will issue in few months or same day service

Good morning to everyone on the forum.

My wife received her RC yesterday :) :D

Application date - Jan 27th '15 (application made under SS route)
Delivered to HO - Jan 29th '15
Ack letter - Dated Jan 30th '15
COA - Dated Feb 11th '15
Email ack - Received Feb 12th '15
No interviews or home visits. We did not request any document returns
RC dated June 05th, received via RM signed for tracking.

We supplied a return envelope to track the return of our documents. I was going nuts checking the RM website daily, while my wife just went about her day, without a care in the world :D
They returned them signed for but not in the envelope we provided; probably our documents were too much to return in the one we provided.

My best advice to everyone waiting, be like my darling wife. What is to be, will be. And yes I can say this because we have been victims of the £18,600 financial requirement, had family visit visas denied, been apart for too long, but now, it's over! After 3 years it's FINALLY OVER!!!!

Best of luck to you all and God Bless

Well they don't give right to work mostly if it's extended family member. But I know one person he got COA with no right to work and after around a week they sent him another COA with right to work ... I think it depends on luck at times ...

Guys, my 2 pence to the discussion.

We sent our EEA2 application on 21 May. Payments were taken on 01 June and letters for biometric enrolment were dated 02 June (received separately for both application, on different days despite both applications for my parents as dependent direct family members sent in one package). Biometrics enrolled on 03 and 04 June and COAs with right of work issued on 09 June.

One thing are obvious but needs to be stipulated. One, is that biometrics triggers COAs. One cannot expect COA without UKVI getting their prints.

Hello everyone!

Finally i got my RC today :D and happily can buy our tickets and can travel on July as we planned!

Applied as Romanian-Turkish married couple. No interviews no home visit and my timeline is:

Applied : 28/01 2015
Received Acknowledgement: 05/02 2015
Received COA with right to work: 16/02 2015
RC: dated 08/06/2015 recevied on 12/06 2015

This forum is so helpful. I was a silent follower then i also got involved. As i said before if i was following here earlier maybe i didnt even had to pay a lot of money to my solicitor. So thank you everyone, good luck to everyone who is waiting for the RC!
