Hi friends

I have bin trying to get my Mom a visitor visa but unfortunately twice they refused her, though she's already bin here on a visitors visa before and left the country after 3 months stay and the main reason of refusal is lack of funds..THEY (HO) are blind to see my brothers bank statements and Salary of about 40k pounds as an evidence of lack of funds..

Anyways now i am planning to apply for her as a dependent of EEA national..as my wife is an EEA national and i am a EEA2 RC holder.

She is at the moment in pakistan ..can someone please guide me how things work?

how old and is how she dependant? Any family in her country?

Dependant parents may be considered direct family members, see Regulation 7. What's the role of your brother in all this? It's obviously your wife (or possibly you) who has to show that she can support your mother.

my brother is here on indefinite leave but still don't hold citizenship ..but will apply in few months when he is eligible...but since we have tried and we can't get through from his side due to stupid attitude of British High commission in Pakistan ...so i want to try on my behalf and my wife's behalf...

She is 61 years Old..

Can i apply for her EEA2 from pakistan?

No, you can only apply for a residence card in the UK. You would have to get her here first. For an EEA family permit the BHC would probably want to see that she is a dependant right when she applies.

That should be possible provided that you can show that she is truly dependant on you. You may want to consider making an affidavit.

Dear 86ti and other fellow friends

it looks like soon my mother would be here in uk as her visit visa is about to be approved..

Can u please guide me what type of doucments i will need to present?

and can i also include my brother in sponsors for my moms application as well (ILR holder)?
