APPEAL ALLOWED(INSTANT DECISION)- HO DID NOT TURN UP

Post by troubled » Tue Jun 22, 2010 2:00 pm

First and foremost let me thank God for making this appeal succesful and to those who contributed to my post especially Obi,John and the rest.
I went for my appealing hearing today and it took the immigration judge just five minutes to allow my appeal i.e instant decision.Let me quote her own words" This case should not have come to this point it is ridiculous to come this far, appeal is allowed". Home office presenting officer did not attend so it was me,my solicitor and the judge in the room. The judge told me to wait for determination letter next week. All I did was that my solicitor asked to confirm my name and the address.
I will update you when I receive my passport with the visa.

The reason was that my wife`s passport attached to the application had expired although I supplied all other documents like P60,wage slips etc.It was a silly reason given by HO at that time. This time I provided my spouse valid national ID card in court

Excellent stuff, well done. I felt your case was rock solid and the UKBA will not have a foot to stand on.

I am yet to receive my passport back with the endorsement after winning my appeal in June,2010.I complained to NWCU on 30th July and had an email stating HO will response within 20 days.Today i received a letter from HO stating that my case has been concluded and the documents posted to me as requested. In fact I am yet to receive those documents,I do not know whether the documents have been sent to my solicitor as I could not call him.I will call HO tomorrow to find out where they have sent my documents to as contained in their letter dated 12/08/2010. I am keeping my fingers-crossed.

My application was refused in Feb,2010 but the appeal was held in June,2010 so in effect about four months.
After the appeal it took another two months to receive my passport with PR
