I am married to a A8 national. She has not started working yet under the WRS scheme. My question is how much she should have in her account or she has to earn every week/month to sponsor me.

Another question:

Currently i am under Tier4 student visa. Expires in april 2011. I have paid my college fees until June 2010. My next term will start in September, but i do not want to continue my studies anymore and do not want to pay to college anymore. To apply for a FMRS how long do i have left? will i have any trouble with homeoffice if i do not continue my college now. We are married on 23rd June, provided with COA.

I would be very grateful if anyone can help me with both issues please.

I believe that your wife can be self-employed without having to register under WRS. See: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... tregister/

Are you both able to support yourselves without being a burden on the state? Your wife needs to show proof of this either as an employed or self employed/self-sufficient person before you can apply for a FMRS or UKRC.

By the way, how long had you and your wife been together in a r/ship before you got married and what is the reason you no longer wish to continue college? Bear in mind that the UKBA may be "suspicious" about the marriage and switch if occurring in a relatively 'short' period of time.

How can we prove that we are self employed? We are in relationship since Aug 2008. and we have proof of that. Is there any financial criteria for my wife to meet my FMRS criteria? we are not taking any kind of benefit or so...

By showing docs pointing to self-employment - registered comapny docs, HMRC letters/self assessment tax returns...

Have a read of the FRMS form to know what criteria need be met/supporting docs required.

My husband is from an A8 county as well, but he's self-employed and has never registerd under the WRS.

We applied for my EEA2 and his EEA1 proving that he was self-employed, as a joint application in February this year. He submitted the bills to pay for the National Inssurance contribution issued by the HM revenue, and his invoice book to clarify his status as self-employed, and a letter from an accountant who worked to asses his tax.

I was just a part time worker at that time, so we tried to show our bank statements having savings as sufficient as possible, including some financial supports from my parents.

Eventually, we received my resident card and his registration certificate last week.

Ok, Congratulations :)

Now my situation is as such...

My wife (A8 national) just got a job yesterday, started her job as permanent 20 hours contract. I am also as a student working only 20 hours. Now we can not show her as a self employed. Now my question is, to Apply for FMRS how much minimum monthly income she has to have or savings she must have in her account? will this 20 hours work enough to apply for FMRS? will she must work full time?
