non eea family member appeal, need help asap.

hi i have applied for eea2,5years residence stamp for 2 years now .i have just received a letter from the home office that my eea national passport is reported lost or stolen.so base on this i was refused but gave me appeal.i and my partner has called the slovak embassy and they told us that was wrong that the passport is not reported lost or stolen,they gave us thier ministry of interior slovak website where you can check lost or stolen documents.we have check it is not reported lost or stolen .is this a good sign or do we have to do more.pls help

yes it is a good sign.
you should send them a letter to reconsider and they are mistaken and the other option is too appeal.
i am sure if the passport is not lost or stolen you will win the appeal easily.

Just send HO a letter explaining everything, If you can get a letter from your spouse's embassy confirming this and HO might reconsider the application.
