Hello
I am about to apply for permanent residence and my questions are
1) having 3 months absence from the UK in 2009 due to some family issues, do I need to attach any documents for this period or just simply put it in the listing on the form
2) I received job seeker's allowance for 3.5 months this year. How does it affect my application?
Thanks for your time for replying.

1) Can you show that you have been in the UK the other 9 months of the year?
2) Chapter 12 of the
ECIS.

Hi
yes of course, I was employed throughout the year until middle of October.
I spent the rest of the year outside the UK.
By the way I checked the form again and I could not find any space for listings absence at all.
Where should I write any note about this?
thanks,

Why would you need to? Just send in rent/utility bills/council tax/etc. and all work related documents. Those will clearly show that you have spent more than the required six months per year in the UK.

hm okey thank you
To my understanding I was expected to write all happenings for the past 5 years. (not just the work related ones)
The missing gap will be considered as absence automatically?

As 86ti rightly mention, you will not be required to explain gaps not exceeding six months in any calendar year, as such gaps are not considered as break in residence.
