Dear all

I am a non EEA national in UK on Post study work visa, my wife is an EEA national.

I am working full time in UK, my visa expires in 1 month and my wife is a full time student.

I plan to apply for EEA 2 residence card in a week. I need to know

1. Does my wife need to show lots of funds in her bank statement - currently I am paying all bills and there is not much in her account. Her tuition fees have been paid by her parents. She gets adoption benefits from her home country, but this goes to her parents account.

2. Cant I show my statements instead? Section 4 of the EEA 2 form - "If you are supporting them through working, you must complete this section with your details.".

2. Does she need to get a private health insurance as a student?

3. Can I continue working till I receive COA?

PLease help

Thanks very much

plz put yr request into the EEA2 forum, people will advise u frm there. but am sure its possible for u to apply..as long as u said u r married and u include yr marriage certtificate, letter frm her school and other docs u gots.. and u can possibly ring the homeoffice for more details abt yr such application. my partner rang them durin mine, and they told her wat and wat to send.
