Residence Card application return.. Not sure why

Hello all,

I recently submited my residence card application here within the UK (seeking a 5 year permit) I received my 6 month EEA family permit in october in Chicago.

My application was returned via the post stating that I was unable to apply for a residence card at this present time as my wife must complete 12 monthis continuous legal employment under the worker registration scheme, she should register her current employer with the WRS and I can re-apply when she has completed 12 months/emoployment under the WRS.

Fine.. That I get, what I don't is why they returned my application because of this.

She has been working for a national hospital since May of 2008

In my application, we included the following:

1) Contract of employment
2) Most recent wage slip (just one)
3) Letter from employer confirming employment

I would think all of that she provide proof. What are they looking for? :?

Should we include her Accession State Worker Registration Scheme Registration Card? Even if they are not asking for it in the document check list?

Thank you for any help given..

Brian

Is the current employer registered under the WRS? If yes, then just include the card when reapplying (even if they could check that fact by themselves). Anyway, you better post questions regarding the EEA route in this forum.
