eea2 processing times

Post by avela-onke » Thu May 05, 2011 9:21 am

Hi all
Just wanted to find out if anyone who sent their EEA2 application has had their RC sent back to them as I see the processing times are a bit quicker and people who applied in Jan '11 already have thiers back. I rang the Liverpool office yesterday to request my partners passport and daughters birth certificate to apply for her new passport and when I cheekily asked the lady how long to go for my application was told she doesn't have the information and can only access it after 6 months.
My timeline,
Applied: 2 February '11
Apllication received by HO:3 February '11
COA received: 2 March '11,dated 23 February '11
Any help with regards to the above would be appriciated.

Hi everyone
Rang the HO yesterday when I would receive the documents I had asked for ie. my partners passport and daughters birth certificate. The lady that I had spoken to told me a parcel had been sent out on Wednesday and when I pressed on to ask if my application has been completed she said she couldn't access that information, so fingers crossed eveything is in order and I will be receiving my RC in the post. Waiting for the postman but the stress of it all is a killer.

I sent my application on 27th March 2011. So far I've received no acknowledgement from UKBA, as in no Certificate of Application COA.
