in the event of death

hi ,pls i will really like u all to help out in this surden event.

i ve a friend who lost her husband recently(death) after a year and three months of marriage and she only just received her rc on 01 02 2011 .

1,my question is what will happen to her
2,will she have to inform the home office

thnks vinny,just went through the link and it says she must ve recided in the uk with the partner for atleast one year, is it one year after the marriage or one year after the rc was issued
secondly he wasnt working before the surden event will that affect her in any way
and finnally does she ve to inform the ho? thnks

One year in the UK after marriage. Non-workers may also be qualified, for example, Job seekers etc., or 5 may be applicable.
