Applying EEA2

hi,
me and my wife is planning to apply for EEA2 Residence card for me.. but i need some advise.
my wife is german and currently she is studying on her final year which is going to finish in 1-2 months and she is not working.
do you thing we can still apply as a student?
and 2. question is i am just saw some insurance problem but couldn't see on application form anything about requesting insurance?

ps: i am currently working full time with my Turkish working visa and my wife is studying and she is german do we still need insurance?

An EEA national exercising treaty rights as a student must have "comprehensive sickness insurance".

If she can provide evidence that she has appropriate insurance then you can apply for a Residence Card.

Thank You very much for your reply. That helps a lot. One more question regarding the family permit for my husband, if you don't mind.

i am german citizen and never apply for EEA1 do i need to apply for it before we send my husband EEA2 application?

You don't have to, as long as you can show evidence of exercising treaty rights. However, you can apply for a Registration Certificate yourself at the same time as your husband's RC: it might be helpful later if you want to apply for Permanent Residence.

How long have you been in the UK?
