Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but I just want to know why were you refused? Did you and your EU partner apply together?

IT takes normally 6 to 8 weeks.

I am also curious why UKBA refused and then why the appeal was allowed. We all learn from these practical real examples!

we were refuse cause we did not live with our EEA mum on the same address for 5years and we did not explain.so when we appeal our lawyer explain it.

How old were you at the start or end of the 5 years?

It is odd that UKBA expects the child to be resident with the parent, especially if the child is older. What was the "reason" that you lived apart, and that made the judge happy?

Congratulations on getting your PR! It would be nice if you could help us understand what happened in your case, just so if it happens to anyone else we can help them too. :)
