I would like to know if it is very important to submit a comprehensive medical insurance for EEA 4 permanent residency card application as my EEA national spouse ( wife ) is on maternity for 1 year ( april this year till april next year). She has been working full-time( and never stop work in-between these years ) since she entered U.K in 2005. I'm a non-eea spouse and i'll be applying in december this year. Thanks

She is still employed, so there should`t be a problem with that.

For example, my wife i Eea and she is on maternity leave since August 2010, in August 2011 she was 5 years in the UK so she applied for PR. I can't see any problems, still waiting for outcome from UKBA, but in my view case is straight forward.
