Hello everyone,
so i've been watching and reading this forum for over a week now, some are refusal scary stories
I am indonesian and recently married with a german guy, we've dated close to 8 months, yes i know, fast decision..but you really can't go tough on true love
we started dating the same month we know each others, we even had relationship before we meet each others face to face (via skype video etc, ) and then on of april he visited me for 3 weeks (supposed to be 2 weeks, but we want to spend more time together so..he bought another ticket for 1 week ), we fall in love soo deeply and then he proposed me to engaged, it was the most hardest thing in my life to let him go that time,
then we continue the online communication almost 24 hours, while he work, we even keep our skype thing going on while we sleep, while he's in the UK we both working on another stupid beaurocracy for marriage papers that took us 3 months to get everything ready.
and then last august he came back to jakarta then we travel to canada then got the opportunity to flew to hongkong to meet his older brother who lives there, then we get married 2 days after we arrived, his father and his father's wife also there to witnessed our marriage, so is my family, i tried to get everything documented, i also got the chance to visit his father's wife family who happen to be indonesian as well, so we got total of staying together for 6 weeks...including the marriage and all...
he can't stay longer than that because his work only give him 5 weeks of holiday time and additional 1 week for wedding.
My Question is :
to sum it up, is 6 weeks of face to face meeting and live together enough to convince ECO? #
i didn't include his bank statement as i had included his wage slip for 6 months or so, is this gonna be a problem?
I just applied for EEA FP on 14th sept 2011 through visa aplication center,
The document was
- My valid passport
- Marriage certificate legalized and certified and legal translation
- Husband copy of passport + UK driver's license
- our almost 100 pages of video call history skype video, yahoo messenger chat, 100++ proof screenshoot of sms, facebook, blog, etc
- Wedding photos, pre wedding photos (professionally taken), family dinner photos (including his family with mine), traveling photos and photos of cards, flower, gifts
- His work contracts, Employment proof from his boss, wage slip, tax slip
- My portfolio ( im freelancing, so i dont have wage slip ),
- My 3 months bank account
- Statement letter of intention along with history of our relationship and future plan from both of us.
- Long testimonial letter from husband's father who also says he will support us anytime we need help, and a testimonial from his brother in hongkong as well, testimonial from my mother too.
- screenshoot of email from closest friends of his saying congratulations and stuff.
- A western union slip that he's been supporting me through out our relationship and pay for our wedding.
- A tenancy contract in UK with his name and my name (he and the landlord had signed the contract, i havent..)
i hope im doing the right thing, coz i really anna be with my husband and start a family like other normal couple...getting tired with this online thingy
