Hello All, just new in the forum. I (non eu) with my spouse and children (Uk Citizen) exercising our right in France.

We intend to move to Uk soon after the Eu Work Contract expired come next year.

My question, Is accomodation in Uk part of the requirement before moving back with the Non Eu Spouse to Uk?

Will cherish more information Uk Citizen and the Non Eu Spouse need to know concerning documents to be submited along with the Family Permit Form.

Thnks,
Lawwy

That would depend on whether you want to enter the UK and live there under UK immigration law or under EU/EEA treaty rights. Or do you not know about the differences and choices that are open to you?

Hello Lucapooka, We really appreciate your quick response.
We have yet to decide may be it will be temporal. We will decides that after a few months in Uk.

Pls shed more light on the differences and choices that are open to us. We will prefer the less complex one, but wish to know more about all.
We thought Uk immigration law may be more complex. Which of these will not require the Uk citizen to get an accomodation in Uk before going to the Uk?

Best regards,
lawwy

Basically the UK route costs (quite some) money and you would have to establish yourself (alone) in the UK first. The EEA route (under the Surinder Singh and Eind rulings) may need some explaining to the embassy staff in Paris unless your spouse happens to be a non-visa national and you could try to skip the EEA family permit. But trying to enter the UK as a UK citizen under EEA regulations could be problematic. There are some reports on this forum so try and have a look.

Many thanks,

My spouse is visa national (Ghanian) but with French Resident Permit, Family Member of Eu Resident Card.

What then is the best and less complex way for my spouse to go with me to Uk.

Secondly, Pls let me know some the topic/tittle of some of such reports in this Forum.

Appreciate your quick response.

Thks,
lawwy

please advise, thanks.

Hi everyone! im new in here, but i hope someone can help me. i need to clarify an information that i found on EEA FP website.

Well, im EEA national (Slovakia) my husband is Turkish (non EEA). we got married this year in July in Turkey. Our marridge certificate has been appostolised, so it is accepted in 7 countries. My husband is still in Turkey. Im living and working in UK 7years now. We are going back to my country to visit my family in October.

The question is: CAN MY HUSBAND TRAVEL WITH ME FROM SVK TO UK?

as i said, i saw on EEA FP website, that if an EEA citizen exercising her/his treaty rights in UK, that a none EEA citizen can travel with her/him and can enter UK without EEA FP application, however he will have to apply within one month for the EEA FC once he will be in UK.

Is this right? we really need to know. I will take my work contract, payslip, bill and also i have managed to find a flat for us, so i have our tenancy agreement as well.

Please can someone tell me is this is true? apparently if i would be British, he will not be able to do this. but as im EEA citizen I can accompanied him when he is travelling.

we tried UK embassy to get information, and the website as well, but they are useless...

I would appreciate your help as we are traveling to SVK on th 19th. He is coming from Turkey and i will be flying from London.
