I Am Irish based in the UK with parents of Zambian origin. I would like to find out on what basis they can refuse to give my mother and 27 year old brother an EEA family permit as i am working in the Uk for 4 years now and give me the likely reasons they might use to refuse cause i can prove i have supported them for 3years now. Cheers and your advice will be highly appreciated[/b

One thing is that you need to prove that your family members are wholly or mainly dependent on the support provided; if the support merely gives them a higher quality of life then that's not enough.

I can prove i have been sending them money through western union money transfer and then what or how much more do i need to prove they are wholly dependent on me.
