Morning All

two questions

My passport is due to expire in sep 2012 and I will be applying for EEA3 in Jan 2012.

First question.. can I have PR ( which is valid for 10yrs) on my passport which will expire in 2012 means before 10 years or do i have to apply for a new passport first and then apply for PR.

Second question
If everything goes well and if I will have eea3 on my same passport which is expiring next year then do I need to apply for a new passport to have British Citizenship or my old expired passport will be ok?

I dont wanna spend £40+ for something I won't need
Many Thanks guys

You can apply on your existing passport. The PR will be valid for 10 years and can be used after the passport expires (together with a valid passport).

You can apply for naturalisation with an expired passport.
