Ok,
We applied 25th July, COA 2nd Aug so i suspect (hope) we are close to getting the RC.
However - my spouse needed to do business travel and requested his passport back about a month+ ago - and received it after chasing twice.
Now with my passport (+RC) + docs (marriage cert) still to come we
realised that when they sent my husbands passport back they used
the pre-paid envelope we provided.
So -Should i phone them to ask if we can send them another pre-paid,
with perhaps a cheeky request to find out where we are - cos if they've already sent it out - we are at the mercy of the 2nd class mail?

No harm in phoning them and asking although if you expect them to be able to locate your file and attach a new SAE to it and use it, you might be expecting too much.

yep i don't want to go throwing good money after bad.
