mistake in online application of EEA FAMILY PERMIT:(

HI,

I have completed online application form for EEA family permit here from Dubai and I have done one small mistake. My wife is exercising her treaty rights as a student in the UK and her course ends in January 2013 but I have put the date as January 2012 mistakenly.

Application is already done and I cannot amend it. There is no other mistake in the whole form except this one mistake. Can I delete it and correct it as January 2013 when I print the form. Or explain this in covering letter? or any other option?

Please advise..

It should not matter; it's not relevant. What does matter is that she has CSI and you have provided evidence of this in the application bundle.

Thanks alot for your reply

Yes she has CSI and I have got the details scanned copies. I have also got her registration certificate to prove her treaty rights etc. My wife and daughter's passport copies, pictures..etc

So shall I leave as it is? or explain this in cover letter? or delete in application and put the correct date with my initials. I just dont want to give any wrong details. What would be the best option to resolve this issue?

I appreciate your attention to my question.

Thanks

Adnan, have you actually submitted the application and done the biometrics? If you've only completed the form and it won't let you amend it, then you could either hand mark it up or enclose a covering letter when you submit.

It looks like you haven't actually submitted it yet then. In that case covering letter explaining the error and / or initial the mark up would be fine in my view. Better to have it correct than not.
