can non EEA travel to UK with a EEA

Hi guys,

i found this on the timaticweb. please can you inform if this meant that a none eea can travel with a eea? flying with British Airways.

Well, depends where they are travelling to...

Is this Turkey - Austria - UK ?

A visa is not required, however the airline ground stuff and/or the Austrian authorities might not all be well trained in EEA regulations. That is why a EEA Family Permit is advised. See similar information in the IRL or UK to Schengen, without visa, for EEA-family members thread.

travelling from Wienna. Person has schengen visa that he knows he cannot travel to uk. However if he travels with an EEA as husband, he will be able to travel.

Anyone has experience with BAA?

to be honest i think Austrian staff is much well trained the UKBA staff here....

i have posted this info as it is on BAA website as well and i think once he handles the passport for check in they will see exactly what is on here...
