finally my wait is over too. received my RC on Friday after many years {3years} it has been a longest journey of my life and i thank God that the wait is over. l need to find out what is the process and time scale for stamping A4 RC to new passport, because i have me in A4 and am thinking of sending my passport to HO, because its easier to lose an a4 paper than it is a passport.

You will need to make a fresh application like you have never applied before.

Yes, in general a fresh application is required. Why did it take three years, was that down to you or them? If the latter, that might give you an angle for asking for an expedited fresh application.
