Hi, I hope someone can guide me on this one.
I am a British citizen and married to a non-EU citizen for the last 4 years. We were living abroad (in Pakistan) for the last 4 years and have two kids (both British Citizen as I am British).
I have returned back to the UK 2 weeks ago and found a job (Software Engineer) at a salary of 38000 GBP. My wife needs to apply for a spouse visa but I have been reading that I must show last 6 months wages slips even though I have got a permanent job and a salary of 38K.
It is really hard to live away from kids and wife for 6 months and wait for 6 wages slips before applying for a visa.
Can you kindly advise me if home office will still accept application if I show them 1-2 months wages slips with a letter from my employer that I am a permanent employee and current salary is 38K?
Thanks for any help.
