Term Insurance while in uk.

Post by moonlight55 » Thu Feb 13, 2014 10:34 am

Hi,

I've recently moved to UK on Tier 2 (General). I intend to stay here for 5+ years and get an ILR. Can I get a term insurance from a UK insurance company now? OR I need to wait until I become a UK national before they can give me a term insurance?

Thanks!

You can get life/critical illness insurance if you're resident, you don't need to be British. I suggest you contact a broker who'll be able to give you some quotes and tell you the eligibility criteria for the different providers.
