Best account for graduate

Post by atebera » Sun Feb 20, 2011 4:56 pm

I am currently with Barclays bank on an International Student account (since 2004 when I began study) where I pay £5 monthly to bank with them. I have recently been granted PSW visa for 2 years expiring Dec 2012.

Which bank allows foreign nationals to get a graduate account?

Anyone who has managed to change accounts, let me know.

I went into my branch and they were going on about my passport etc so I'm assuming my request to change account types could be refused.

You can apply for a graduate account and you shouldn't be refused provided that you have lived in the UK for three years and can prove graduate status. Try HSBC if Barclays is a no go.
