Travel Time After Visa Granted

Hi guys i am back again with yet another question if any one could kindly help me regarding this

My wife and son got the visa from pakistan , is it necessary for them to travel to UK within 28 days of the visa being issued or it is not compulsory?.

Please help me guys as someone has confused me regarding this ...
