hi friends,

We are Indian and have nearly completed 5years in UK on T1 general visa and about to apply for ILR. I have 2.5yrs old kids born in the uk. At this point I have a choice for my children, apply for their Citizenship (as soon as we get ILR) or apply for their ILR. I don't want to close doors of settling back in India few years later.

Question1: If I get citizenship for my children will they be able to go back with me to India lets say in 2018 and live there with British Passport?

Question2: If I need to travel to India for holidays only, will I need to apply for their Indian visa every time i travel to India?

Thanks,
Anas

What was posted above is not correct.
All of you can apply for British citiZenship and apply for OCI.

This will let you live in India for as long as you wish and you can even getby our indian citiZenship back after living in the country for 15 years if you want.
